Overview

The Syntech MR Walnut Stand is a wooden desk stand for storing a Meta Quest headset and its controllers between sessions. Syntech announced it in June 2025 as one of four Made for Meta accessories, together with the Syntech XR Headset Backpack and two head straps. The Meta store sells it for $64.99. Syntech's own US store shows the same $64.99 as a sale price, against a regular price of $74.99. Neither Meta nor Syntech lists any charging function, so it is a storage stand, not a dock.

Design and specs

The stand is made of natural walnut with a scratch-resistant finish. It has a tiered layout. A base tray holds the Touch controllers, a column carries a bracket that the head strap hangs on, and a headset tray sits above. Cable clips keep a charging cable tidy. Meta lists it at 292 x 206 x 290 mm and 767 g, in walnut brown. Syntech mentions an anti-slip base and reinforced construction. In the box are the controller base, the head-strap bracket and support column, the headset tray, a hex key, five Allen head screws, a silicone pad and four cable clips.

Compatibility

Meta lists the stand for the Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro and Meta Quest 2. Syntech calls the design universal and says it fits most headsets, but the only official list is Meta's. To charge while the headset sits on the stand, you plug in your own cable.

Setup and use

The stand comes in three main pieces. Meta calls it a 3-piece assembly and includes a hex key and screws, while Syntech's launch release describes a tool-free, three-step assembly. Once built, you hang the headset by its strap on the bracket, set the controllers in the base tray and clip the cable along the column. Meta's photos show a Quest 3S and its Touch Plus controllers on the stand.

Who it is for

The stand suits Quest owners who keep the headset on a desk or shelf and want it tidy and in one place. The walnut look fits a home office or living room better than a plastic dock. If you want the headset and controllers to charge when you set them down, a charging dock such as the Meta Quest Compact Charging Dock does that job instead.
