Overview

The Soundcore by Anker Wireless VR Earbuds are sold by Anker's audio brand soundcore as the VR P10. Soundcore calls them the first true wireless earbuds authorized by Meta to work with Meta Quest. They came out in October 2022 for the Meta Quest 2 at $99.99, and Meta still sells them at that price. Meta now lists the Quest 3S, Quest 3 and Quest 2.

Design and specs

The earbuds use 11 mm drivers with Anker's BassUp bass boost. A USB-C dongle gives a 2.4 GHz link that soundcore calls LightningSync, using the LC3 codec, with latency under 30 ms. Over Bluetooth they support SBC and AAC. Soundcore rates the earbuds at 6 hours per charge and up to 24 hours with the case, and a 10-minute charge gives about 1.5 hours. The earbuds are IPX4 water resistant, but the case is not. They have no active noise cancellation, no transparency mode and no wear detection. Meta lists the product weight as 62 g without saying whether that includes the case.

Compatibility

Meta lists the Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3 and Quest 2, while soundcore's own page still describes them as made for Quest 2. The dongle also works with PC, PS5, PS4, Switch and Steam Deck; PS4 needs a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Soundcore says they do not work with Xbox.

Setup and use

You plug the dongle into the headset's USB-C port. The dongle has a pass-through port, so you can charge the headset while you play; soundcore says the charger must support USB Power Delivery at 9V/2A or more. The earbuds can stay connected to the dongle and to a phone over Bluetooth at the same time, so you can take a call without pausing the game. The case stores the dongle. The box holds the two earbuds, three pairs of ear tips, the case, the dongle, a quick start guide and a safety card.

Who it is for

These earbuds suit Quest owners who want low-latency wireless audio and long play sessions with pass-through charging, for example when streaming PC VR games. People who need noise cancellation should look elsewhere. On October 31, 2026 the soundcore US store listed them at $79.99 but sold out, while meta.com had them in stock at $99.99.
