BOBOVR M3 Pro+ Battery Strap

Overview

The BOBOVR M3 Pro+ Battery Strap is a third-party head strap with a battery for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. BOBOVR listed it on its official store in June 2026 at $59.99 as the newest model in its M series. It succeeds the M3 Pro, which uses an older battery and is still sold. It ships with a charging dock for the battery.

Design and battery

Front and rear knobs switch the strap between two fit modes. Halo Mode moves support to your forehead and the back of your head to ease pressure on your face, for relaxed use. Elite Mode gives a closer, firmer fit for fitness, rhythm games and fast movement. The forehead pad also rotates to fit different head shapes.

Power comes from BOBOVR's BM60 battery, which attaches to the back with magnets and can be swapped without taking the headset off. It holds 6,500 mAh (two 3,250 mAh cells at 3.6V). In BOBOVR's tests with the headset off, one full BM60 charged a Quest 3S from 1% to about 95-100% and a Quest 3 from 1% to about 86-92%. BOBOVR rates that at about 2 hours of extra VR time. A small display shows the battery percentage and power output, and the strap beeps at 15% and 10%. BOBOVR does not publish the strap's weight.

Compatibility

BOBOVR lists the M3 Pro+ for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S only. BOBOVR sells separate straps for Meta Quest 2. The BM60 battery is not interchangeable with the B2 battery of the M3 Pro or the B100 battery of the S3 Pro and E3 Pro, and their docks differ too. The battery-free BOBOVR M3 strap can take a BM60 later.

Setup and use

The box has the strap, one BM60 battery, the charging dock, two charging cables and instructions. A wall charger is not included. With a USB-C PD charger, the BM60 charges at up to 18W and fills in about 2 hours, or about 2 hours 10 minutes at 5V. BOBOVR suggests a 5V/3A or 9V/2A charger and warns that splitters or long cables can slow or stop charging. The battery only wakes up when the strap's USB cable is plugged into the Quest. A second BM60 is sold separately. BOBOVR covers straps sold on its own store with an 18-month warranty.

Who it is for

The M3 Pro+ suits Quest 3 and 3S owners who want a more comfortable strap and more battery life in one kit, at a lower price than the S3 Pro. Buy the S3 Pro instead if you want the larger B100 battery and a cooling fan. Meta's own Elite Strap with Battery is the first-party alternative.
