Evryway Visualiser is a media and video app for listening to music with reactive visuals, made by Evryway. The idea is to sit back, put on your favorite tracks and let the effects fill the space around you. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on March 11, 2021.
What you can do
The app reads music from several sources and turns it into animated visuals. The developer lists these features:
- Play any audio file stored on your Quest.
- Stream tracks from DLNA media servers on your home network, including Plex, Synology and QNAP.
- Supports MP3, WAV and some other formats.
- HearThis.At integration.
- A large set of different effects.
- A laid-back mode for listening while lying down.
- 90Hz mode on Quest 2.
The store data also tags the app with mixed reality support, though the description does not explain how it is used.
Comfort
Meta rates Evryway Visualiser as comfortable for most people. You can use it seated, standing or in room-scale, and it supports both controllers and hand tracking, so you can put the controllers down and just listen.
