VRSKY: Fighter jets is a flight simulation game from VRSKY Games. It puts you in the cockpit of 60 fighter jets spanning the 3rd, 4th, 4++ and 5th generations, flying over seven different terrains. It is distributed through SideQuest, where it was first listed in October 2023.
How it plays
The game offers three flight modes:
- Dog Fight: pick your own jet and an aircraft type for the enemy squadron, then choose the terrain, difficulty and weather.
- Air Show: fly aerobatic routines with well-known display teams from around the world, over three terrains.
- Free Flight: choose a terrain and fly with no enemies around.
Only 3rd-generation jets are available at the start. Shooting down enemy aircraft and anti-air defenses earns points, and those points unlock the next generation of fighters. Air show teams unlock the same way, through points earned by flying air shows. Missions start and end at an air base or on an aircraft carrier. If you are low on fuel after a mission, a tanker arrives so you can refuel in mid-air, and the game includes 20 different tanker aircraft.
