SPARK

SPARK is an online first-person shooter from SparkGame, set in a virtual world that shares the game's name. You join battles with friends across several modes. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on July 10, 2022.

How it plays

Each mode puts a different spin on online gunfights:

• Gold Royale: go in solo or as a team, look for treasure, loot defeated enemies and get out before time runs out. Fail to extract and you lose everything in your backpack.
• Deathmatch: fast fights with up to ten people, where tactics and positioning decide the winner.
• Riding Battle: combat on horseback, with your horse at your side.
• Weapon Race: twelve players, and every kill swaps your gun for the next upgrade until someone masters the full set.

Multiplayer

SPARK is listed as a multiplayer-only game and needs an internet connection. You can fight alongside friends or alone against other players, depending on the mode. The description says the game is still in beta testing and asks players to report glitches through email or Discord.

Comfort

It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play, using motion controllers. Riding and fast firefights involve a lot of movement, so check the comfort settings before a long session.
