Plastic Battlegrounds is a sandbox toy-soldier battle simulator and shooter from Simulated Minds. You set up battles between plastic army figures, then either join the fight as one of the soldiers or stand at full human size over the chaos. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on October 14, 2024, and is in early access.
How it plays
In Sandbox mode you lay out the battlefield yourself: place units and spawners, add vehicles and emplacements, and drop in hazards to create a different scenario every session. Four factions, Green, Tan, Blue and Grey, can be set against each other. Once the action starts, you can drive toy jeeps, flatten enemies with a tank or fly drones fitted with explosives and machine guns.
