GRAB is a free multiplayer parkour platformer from SlinDev, listed under action and adventure, simulation and creativity. You get around by grabbing the empty air and pulling yourself in any direction, then race or puzzle your way through courses made by other players. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since August 8, 2024.

How it plays

Movement is the whole game. You grab the air to launch yourself, swing with grappling hooks, climb walls and fling your body across gaps, all with hand-based motion controls.

The developer says there are over a million player-made levels, ranging from timed races to puzzles and open courses. If you would rather make your own, the built-in level editor lets you design challenges, build together with friends in real time and publish them for players around the world. You can also customize your character's look.

Multiplayer

Up to 12 players can share a level. You can race friends, cooperate to beat a tough course, or build and test levels together. The developer says thousands of people play each day. An internet connection is required.

Comfort

Meta rates GRAB as intense. Flinging and swinging through the air is a lot of artificial movement, so it may not suit people who are prone to motion sickness in VR. The store lists standing and room-scale play with controllers.
