Car Parking Simulator - Driving and Racing is a driving simulation game from Sloppy Studios that doubles as a practice tool for learning to drive and park. It released on the Meta Horizon Store on March 10, 2021.

How it plays

Every car has a working interior with realistic controls and mirrors, and you can put the steering wheel on the left or right side to match the roads you are used to. The developer says people have used it to learn driving and parking, and that it has helped some players with driving anxiety; that is the studio's own claim, not a medical one.

Beyond parking practice there is a free-roam city full of challenges:

  • Checkpoint races
  • Taxi missions
  • Rooftop driving missions
  • A choice of hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and sports cars

The developer pitches the game both at people who are learning to drive and at drivers who want to sharpen their parking. Having several body styles means you can practice fitting both small and large cars into tight spots, and the city challenges are there for when you want something faster. It is a single-player game with no online requirement.

Comfort

Meta gives it a moderate comfort rating. Car Parking Simulator supports sitting and standing play with controllers.
