Drakheir The First Hand Tracking ARPG is a fantasy action and adventure RPG developed by Shambala virtual reality technology and published by Gallantry Games. It is played entirely with hand tracking, so your gestures drive exploration and combat. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on December 5, 2024.
How it plays
The developer wants Drakheir to go beyond short hand-tracking tech demos and offer a full action RPG in a detailed fantasy world, with the stated aim of setting a new bar for depth in hand-tracking games. Every gesture and movement counts as you explore and fight.
- summon different weapons with hand gestures
- a new movement scheme designed for hand tracking
- cast elemental spells with unique hand signs
- fuse spells together to combine elements
- boss fights that reward strategy and careful maneuvering, including a dragon
Comfort
Meta gives Drakheir a moderate comfort rating. It is played standing and supports hand tracking only, with no controller input listed, so good lighting and some free space around you help. Meta's mixed reality safety note also appears on the listing: watch for physical obstacles while you play.
