Ultra Height: Mist City Climb is a climbing and platforming game for Meta Quest with 40 levels high above a misty city, plus a bonus level and a fitness mode.
Ultra Height: Mist City Climb is a climbing and fitness sports game with platforming action from Ultra Fun Games. You climb and move around at dizzying heights above a city in the mist. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on June 3, 2021.
How it plays
For newcomers it is a fun and nerve-testing climb; for experienced players it is meant as a hard platformer and workout. There are 40 levels, each tougher than the last, plus a bonus level and a workout mode that is one endless level built for VR fitness. You jump, climb and zip between rooftops while racing the clock and trying to beat the high score. The developer bets most players will not get beyond level 30.
- 40 levels of rising difficulty
- A bonus level
- An endless workout mode
- Timed runs with high scores
For a harder workout, the developer suggests wearing wrist sandbags and a sand vest, and points to fitness gear sold on its own website.
Comfort
Meta rates it as intense. Ultra Height supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers. Heights and quick jumps can be unsettling, so if you are prone to motion sickness in VR, take it slowly.
