Song Beater is a rhythm and fitness action game from Playito.com. You hit targets to the beat with your fists or with a range of weapons, using the 60-plus songs and videos that come with it or tracks you add yourself. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since March 21, 2021.
How it plays
- Fit Boxing: punch to the music with bare fists, alone or with others.
- Free Style: pick from blades, tonfas, phasers, a staff or a saw.
- Real 360: targets come at you from all directions.
There are six modes in total, eight environments ranging from Space and Ancient Egypt to Deep Ocean and The Club, and five difficulty levels from light up to impossible. Laser obstacles, some fixed and some moving, keep you dodging.
You also get global and friends leaderboards, 30 achievements, calorie tracking, a family party mode and a level editor, plus options for song speed from 90 to 150 percent, one-handed play, no-fail and custom colors.
Multiplayer
Several modes, including Fit Boxing, can be played with other people, and multiplayer includes voice chat.
Comfort
It supports seated, standing and room-scale play and is played with Touch controllers.
