Range Day VR is a gun range simulator for Meta Quest where you shoot over 40 real and fictional firearms at indoor and outdoor ranges and in timed events.
Range Day VR is a shooting-range simulation from Invidious Studios with shooter and action elements. It aims to recreate a day at a real gun range, letting you handle realistic firearms with no risk to anyone. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on April 1, 2021.
How it plays
Some of the firearm models are authentic and used with permission from their manufacturers; others are fantasy or replica designs meant for sandbox destruction.
- Several indoor and outdoor ranges in day and night settings
- More than 40 weapons, with more added over time
- Timed challenges where you compete with other players
The developer calls the game early access with regular content and fix updates, though the store data does not mark it as early access. It is a single-player game for now; the studio says cross-platform multiplayer has been part of its plan from the start. The developer also offers a beta sign-up by email.
Comfort
Range Day VR supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers.
