Fitness Fables is a Quest fitness adventure that turns workouts into story quests across 80 levels, with squats, rope swings and boss fights.
Fitness Fables is an action fitness game developed by ImmersionVR and published by Immersion Games S.A.. It wraps exercise in a fantasy story: each workout is a quest through the worlds of Alterterra, and moving your body is what pushes the plot forward. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on January 30, 2025.
How it plays
The campaign has 80 levels. Most of them, 48 in total, are traversal stages where you travel through the world. Another 16 are boss fights, and 16 more are optional bonus levels meant as an extra test for players who want it. The developer puts the total at up to 24 hours of workouts, scaled from light activity to hard sessions.
- 24 exercises, among them Power Squats, Rope Swings, Sky Press and Battle Ropes, aimed at strength, endurance and coordination.
- Boss fights built around moves such as Power Bow and Battle Drums.
- Worlds including Terragon, Frostia, Ignis Prime, Aquarion and Zypheron.
- Exercises that scale, so both beginners and regular exercisers can play.
The store genres list it as arcade and action, so expect quick, game-like sessions rather than a plain workout timer.
Comfort
Meta rates Fitness Fables as comfortable for most people. It supports standing and room-scale play only, with no seated mode, which makes sense for a workout game. Clear some floor space before you start, since squats and rope moves need room around you. It is played with controllers.
