Find My Phone App - The Game

Find My Phone App - The Game is not a phone utility, despite the name. It is a short, story-driven comedy and adventure game from Pet Vacuum about one very modern problem: your phone has vanished. It came out on the Meta Horizon Store on March 11, 2021.

How it plays

The game treats a lost phone as both an outrage and a real threat, and sends you off to work out where in the world it has wandered. Your main tool is a Find Your Phone app running on an in-game tablet. You use it to scan the places you visit for clues, though the description warns that those clues are about as unhelpful as they get. All the while, you hope your phone has not been snatched by a crafty phone thief.

The humor comes from that setup: an everyday annoyance blown up into a full adventure. The store text is short and does not list the number of areas or how long the story takes, but it does call the game short, so expect a compact, one-sitting experience rather than a long quest.

It is a single-player game, and the low age rating makes it suitable for younger players as well as adults.

Comfort

It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play, using motion controllers. Since it is an exploration game with no combat mentioned, it should suit a relaxed play session.
