Escape Room: Bank Robbery Gone Wrong is an escape room puzzle game from Vasil4N. The setup is a little unusual: you are the subject of a virtual experiment, dropped into a world where you are a customer at a bank that has just been robbed, and now you are locked in alone. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on January 26, 2022.
How it plays
There is nobody to help you, so getting out depends on searching the rooms, uncovering hidden secrets and working through layered riddles. The developer estimates the main story takes about 90 minutes, not counting extra content, which makes it a compact single-player adventure.
- A main escape room story set in the bank
- Two bonus rooms, Office Trouble and Geek Heaven, with harder puzzles for after the main game
- A Speedrun mode that unlocks once you finish the story
- Online results so you can compare times with friends or players worldwide
Comfort
Meta rates it comfortable for most people. You can play seated, standing or room-scale, with controllers. Because you move around small rooms at your own pace, it is a reasonable pick for players who are still getting used to VR.
