Crisis Brigade 2 reloaded is an arcade-style shooter with action at its core from Sumalab. You play one of a small group of elite officers sent on risky missions to retake a city overrun by criminals, with permission to stop them however you can. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on September 29, 2022.
How it plays
The game is about taking cover, aiming and firing. The developer compares it to the arcade shooting cabinets of the 1990s, but with your whole body involved: you physically duck and lean out of cover to trade shots with enemies.
- Varied, realistic combat scenarios and boss battles.
- Four difficulty levels.
- A wide range of weapons.
- Upgrades to collect, unlock and equip before a mission.
- Weapon and player skins.
- Leaderboards.
- Support for ProVolver and bHaptics accessories.
Multiplayer
There is a co-op mode, so you can clear missions with a partner instead of alone. The store lists the internet as not required, and the description does not say more about how co-op sessions are set up.
Comfort
Meta rates Crisis Brigade 2 reloaded as comfortable for most people. You can play sitting, standing or in room-scale with controllers. Expect a physical workout, since the game asks you to move to stay behind cover.
