Chess VR is a strategy game from Mastery VR that sets a full chessboard in front of you in themed 3D rooms. Pieces are animated figures, and captures play out as short fight scenes with sound effects. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on March 17, 2022.

You can play against the computer, work through puzzles or replay your games to see where they turned. The developer also hints that poking at pieces and characters can trigger small surprises.
