Boxing Underdog is a physics-based boxing game that blends action, sports and simulation. It was developed by Monologic Games and published by Damian Boczek - Gawliczek. The developer calls it the most authentic VR boxing simulation yet and says it is the closest you can get to real boxing without stepping into a ring. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store in early access on July 28, 2025.

How it plays

Everything is driven by physics, so the weight of a punch and where it lands come from how you actually move. The damage system is a big focus: hits leave visible marks on your opponent's face, so the state of a fight shows on screen as it goes.

In single-player, AI opponents adjust to your level. You can learn real boxing technique, put together combos and work out your own style. The developer frames it as training alone and then proving yourself against people online.

Multiplayer

You can fight friends or strangers from around the world in ranked matches and climb global leaderboards. Multiplayer is the only interaction mode listed on the store, and the game needs an internet connection.

Comfort

Meta rates Boxing Underdog as comfortable for most people. It is played standing or in room-scale with controllers; seated play is not listed. Boxing involves fast swings, so give yourself clear space on all sides.
