What it is

The visionOS App Store is Apple's store for Apple Vision Pro. It offers apps built for visionOS, from windowed apps that float in your room to fully immersive experiences. Many iPhone and iPad apps are also available and run in flat windows. Highlights include productivity and media apps, 3D and immersive video, and games, some of which come through the Apple Arcade subscription.

Headsets that use it

It serves the Apple Vision Pro (M5) and the original Apple Vision Pro, which both run visionOS.

Buying and installing

You browse and buy in the App Store app on the headset, with purchases tied to your Apple Account and paid with Optic ID or your saved payment method. Apps you have bought for iPhone or iPad that are compatible also appear for download. Developers can offer universal purchases, so one purchase covers versions for several Apple devices.

Notable traits

The store focuses on spatial computing more than gaming, and most apps are built for eye and hand input. Since visionOS 26, games can also support the PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers. Vision Pro does not connect to PC VR stores, but Safari supports WebXR for immersive content on the web.
