Kaiju Battle Simulator is an early access physics sandbox where you pilot a custom giant mech and brawl with colossal monsters in destructible cities.
Kaiju Battle Simulator is a physics-based action sandbox from TwoLivesLeft, published under the name Two Lives Left. You pilot a giant mech and brawl with colossal monsters across cities that break apart around you, which makes it part fighting game and part destruction simulation. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since August 20, 2024, in early access.
How it plays
Fights are close and messy. You punch, shoot and slice at kaiju that walk on their own physics and respond to every blow, and both sides wreck the map as the battle goes on.
- Build your mech by choosing its parts and colors.
- Add attachments and weapons such as sawblades, rocket fists and plasma cannons, then pick a loadout before each drop.
- Call in the Kaiju Defence Force for backup with tanks, battleships, bombers and more.
- Flatten too much of the city and your own allies will turn on you.
This is a solo game against computer-controlled monsters. Because it is in early access, the developer says features and content are still being added.
Comfort
Meta rates it moderate. You can play seated or standing with controllers. Big swings and heavy destruction happen all around you, so if you are prone to motion sickness in VR, take breaks between fights.
