STARVAULT is a team shooter with strategy at its core, made by THEIA GAMES CORPORATION and published by THEIA GAMES. The developer pitches it as a VR MOBA shooter: two squads of five pick heroes and battle over lanes, towers and a jungle, all seen from a first-person view. It came out on the Meta Horizon Store on May 15, 2025.
How it plays
Each hero has a role and a set of abilities, so part of the appeal is trying characters until you find one you want to main. Matches blend hero-shooter gunplay and fast action with the familiar MOBA loop of pushing lanes, taking objectives and timing your abilities. The developer says no two matches go the same way and that planning with your team decides the result.
- 5v5 matches against other players
- A roster of heroes with different roles and mechanics
- Unlockable skins for your heroes
- A Sandbox mode for customizing, practicing and taking a break from competitive play
Multiplayer
The store lists multiplayer and co-op. You can queue on your own and get placed in a team, or group up with friends before a match. Because every match is played online against other people, there is no offline mode.
Comfort
Meta gives it a moderate comfort rating, so it will not suit everyone. You can play seated or standing, with controllers. Expect quick turns and constant firefights during matches.
