PADEL 01 is a free early-access padel simulator for Meta Quest 3 and 3S with singles and doubles against bots, 12 training drills, and passthrough mixed reality or full VR play.
PADEL 01 is a free sports simulation developed and published by Wilzig Studio for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. Available now in early access on the Meta Horizon Store with no ads and no in-app purchases, the game brings padel matches and structured shot drills into both full VR and mixed reality passthrough. For court setup tips and drill breakdowns, see our guide to playing PADEL 01 on Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
How it plays
Unlike padel trainers that only offer target practice, PADEL 01 lets you play full singles and 2v2 doubles matches against AI bots right away, so no playing partner or internet connection is needed. Bot opponents scale across six difficulty levels, from Gentle up to Pro, and the custom physics model is built around ball spin, shot placement and realistic back-wall and side-wall glass rebounds.
Before stepping into a match, you can choose between three padel racket shapes—Round (control), Teardrop (balance) and Diamond (power)—and sharpen your technique across 12 specialized training drills:
- Back-wall and side-wall glass rebounds
- Bandeja, víbora and overhead smashes
- Lobs, volleys and quick net reflexes
- Serves, returns and directional placement challenges
Players looking for a score to chase can also take on the Weekly drill challenge, track personal bests and opt into monthly drill rankings. Online multiplayer and a virtual social club are currently in development for a later stage and are not available in the current early access build.
Mixed reality, court sizes and comfort
PADEL 01 supports three visual modes: full-color passthrough that keeps your real room visible, a portal view, or full VR. To fit different home spaces, you can pick from four court size presets ranging from compact living-room dimensions up to an official 10 by 20 meter court.
Meta rates the game Comfortable (Comfortable for most). Every match and drill uses natural physical footwork without teleportation, thumbstick movement or artificial turning. Smaller drills can be played standing in a compact clear space as long as you leave room to swing your arm.
