Wilzig Studio

Wilzig Studio is an independent virtual reality and mixed reality game development studio based in Spain. Led by developer Aaron, the studio focuses on physical, room-scale sports simulation built specifically for standalone headsets running Meta Horizon OS.

PADEL 01 on Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S

The studio's debut release is PADEL 01, a padel simulator launched in early access on the Meta Horizon Store on October 27, 2026 for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. Designed around realistic ball spin, shot placement and glass wall rebounds, PADEL 01 lets players practice and compete at home without needing a playing partner.

Wilzig Studio released the first stage of PADEL 01 as a completely free download with no advertisements and no in-app purchases. The early access build includes:

• Singles and 2v2 doubles matches against AI bots across six difficulty levels, from Gentle to Pro.
• Twelve specialized training drills covering core padel shots and situations, including the bandeja, víbora, smash, lob, volley, serve, reflexes, and back-wall and side-wall glass rebounds.
• Weekly drill challenges, personal best tracking and optional monthly drill rankings.
• Selectable Round, Teardrop and Diamond racket shapes tailored to control, balance or power.
• Full-color passthrough mixed reality, portal view and full VR environments, with four selectable court size presets scaling from compact living-room spaces up to a full 10 by 20 meter court.

Design approach and roadmap

Wilzig Studio emphasizes natural physical footwork and comfort in VR sports. Rather than using teleportation, thumbstick movement or artificial camera turning, PADEL 01 relies on real-world stepping and body positioning within the player's cleared boundary, keeping the experience rated Comfortable on the Meta Horizon Store.

While the initial early access release focuses on solo play against AI bots and structured shot drills, Wilzig Studio is actively developing online multiplayer and a virtual social club for a future stage of development, gathering player feedback and tuning court and glass physics through its community Discord and developer updates.
