Forefront

Forefront is a large-scale multiplayer shooter from Triangle Factory, the studio the store credits with Breachers and Hyper Dash. Matches put up to 32 players on big maps where vehicles, classes and teamwork decide who wins, so it leans on strategy as much as on aim, with plenty of action in between. It arrived on the Meta Horizon Store on November 6, 2025.

How it plays

The setting is the year 2035. An energy company called O.R.E. runs its own army to protect its control of Red Orpiment, a rare mineral expected to power the world, while governments and resistance fighters try to take it back. You choose a side and join the fight.

• Four classes: Assault, Engineer, Medic and Sniper, each with its own weapons, attachments and gadgets that unlock as your soldier and class levels rise.
• Vehicles for land, sea and air, including helicopters, tanks, humvees, quads and boats.
• Partly destructible maps: blow holes in walls or bring buildings down to open new routes or strip enemies of cover.
• Gunplay and movement that the developer describes as realistic and tactical.

Multiplayer

Forefront is multiplayer only. Battles hold up to 32 players and support cross-play with other platforms, which helps keep matches full. No single-player campaign is listed.

Comfort

Meta rates Forefront as moderate. Running, driving and flying across large maps can be a lot for newer VR players, so ease in with shorter sessions if you are prone to motion sickness in VR. It supports sitting and standing play with controllers.
