UG

UG is a free action and adventure and social game from ContinuumXR, published by Continuum VR Studios. You play a caveman who starts with a tiny dinosaur, gives it a name and looks after it until it is big enough to ride. Even the store page is written in broken caveman speech, which sets the tone. UG arrived on the Meta Horizon Store on August 15, 2025, and is still in early access.

How it plays

Everything revolves around your dinosaur. You feed the small one until it grows, then climb on and head off to explore with friends. The store text jokes that caves are too scary and that the shoreline is the safe place to hang out with your group.

• Raise: name and feed a young dinosaur until it reaches full size.
• Ride: travel the map on the back of your grown dinosaur.
• Collect: build up a set of different dinosaurs and swap them with other players.
• Dress up: trade the starting loincloth for new outfits.

The developer says updates land on Thursdays and bring new dinosaurs, sometimes new maps, and bug fixes.

Multiplayer

The listing covers single-player, multiplayer and co-op play. Trading dinosaurs is done with friends, and roaming the world in a group is the main social activity. ContinuumXR points players to a Discord server for its community, which it calls the tribe.
