Titans of Space PLUS

Titans of Space PLUS is a learning and education app with a strong travel and exploration side from DrashVR LLC. It shows the scale of space by guiding you through a shrunken, hologram-style model of our Solar System and then further out to a set of giant stars, so you can compare planets, moons and suns side by side. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since December 19, 2019.

What you can do

The main mode is a guided tour led by a talkative tour guide character. The developer says the narration adds up to around two hours of subtitled, fact-checked material. The spoken voice is English only, while subtitles cover several languages.

• Guided tour: stops at each planet, the larger moons, the dwarf planets and several huge stars.
• Zero-gravity mode: a free-floating spacewalk where you can drift around the objects yourself.
• Quick tours: pick a destination on the map to show family or friends a short version.
• Comfort mode: an option meant for people who are sensitive to motion.

The store page also quotes high praise from UploadVR and mentions that the app was nominated in UploadVR's 2019 Quest awards.

Comfort

Meta rates Titans of Space PLUS as comfortable for most people. Supported play modes are sitting and standing, and you can use controllers and hand tracking. Hand tracking support was added in an update, so you can take the tour without picking up controllers. If you are prone to motion sickness in VR, turn on the built-in comfort mode before you start.
