PAYDAY: Aces High is a four-player co-op heist shooter and action game developed and published by Fast Travel Games under official license from Starbreeze Entertainment. Built from the ground up for virtual reality, it released on November 5, 2026 on the Meta Horizon Store, SteamVR, and Valve's standalone Steam Frame with cross-play across headsets.
Story, classes and how it plays
Players mask up as "The Aces"—an elite four-person heist crew framed and jailed by ruthless business tycoon Warren Jupiter. Breaking out to settle the score, crews target six launch heists spanning heavily guarded banks such as Flowtrust Bank, the Cosmopolitan Museum of Art, and Jupiter's luxury penthouse, with future post-launch heists (beginning with Coup De Grâce in December 2026) promised as free updates.
- Four specialized crew roles: Coordinate as Hearts (Mastermind), Clubs (Ghost), Diamonds (Technician), or Spades (Enforcer), combining assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns, and pistols with black-market gadgets like grapples, hacking tools, and sentry guns.
- Stealth or go loud: Case the building, hack security cameras, bypass laser grids, and crack vaults quietly—or mask up, fend off escalating police and SWAT assault waves, and haul loot bags to the getaway van.

PAYDAY: Aces High supports solo runs with AI crewmates as well as online co-op for up to four players, with cross-play between Quest and Steam headsets. Meta lists a Moderate comfort rating and supports seated, standing, and room-scale play using tracked motion controllers.
