Laser Dance

Laser Dance is a mixed reality action and puzzle game from Vanbo BV, which presents it as the new game from the creator of Cubism. It fills your real living room with laser patterns in the style of a spy movie heist, and you have to get through them without touching a beam. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on November 6, 2025 and is in early access.

How it plays

You place two buttons on opposite walls of your room and move between them while a sequence of laser patterns plays out. The patterns adapt to the size and layout of your space, and each one asks you to move differently: stepping, ducking, dodging or crawling across the floor. The rules are simple to pick up, but later levels take real body control, which is why the developer pitches it as a party game for both VR newcomers and regular players.

• 24 levels with 118 distinct laser patterns in the current early access build
• Levels that fit your room's size and layout
• Accessibility settings that adjust levels to your mobility
• Unlockable challenges that remix earlier levels
• The Mimic update: six levels with a laser that only moves while you move

Comfort

Meta rates Laser Dance as comfortable for most people. It is a room-scale game that works with hand tracking or controllers. The headset tracks your upper body (head, hands, arms and spine) but not your legs.
