Smashy Smashy VR is an action and adventure game from Augmented World built around one idea: breaking things to let off steam. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since June 1, 2022.
How it plays
Instead of taking your frustration out on a real TV, you take it out on virtual ones. The game drops you into an environment and lets you destroy whatever you can reach, with no mess to clean up afterward.
- Everyday locations such as an office and a local supermarket.
- Stranger settings, including a giant game of chess and Egypt.
- Seasonal maps added in later updates: Halloween Village and Christmas Town.
- A Time Attack mode for smashing against the clock.
- Unlockable mods for the open Free Mode.
The developer describes the game as still being in early development, with further modes and environments in production, and invites players to suggest places and objects they would like to see. The store itself does not list it as an early access title. It is a single-player game.
Comfort
It supports standing and room-scale play with controllers. Expect plenty of big swings, so clear the space around you before you start.
