Innerworld by XRHealth is a free learning and health app from Innerworld that offers mental health support in a shared virtual world. Members learn coping tools that the developer describes as evidence-based and meet others in a community built to feel safe. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since November 10, 2022.
What you can do
- Work through hard periods with guides certified in Cognitive Behavioral Immersion, an approach the developer calls transformative.
- Join courses, events and support groups that explore thoughts, emotions and behavior.
- Practice tools meant to carry over into everyday life outside the headset.
- Learn how to help other people through difficult times, which the developer presents as a source of meaning and purpose.
The service is English only for now; the developer says it is for people who can speak English. The store description does not mention clinical treatment or crisis support, so treat it as a community and learning space.
Multiplayer
Innerworld is listed as multiplayer only. Courses, events and groups take place with other members and guides, and the developer describes the community as welcoming and anonymous.
Comfort
Meta rates it as comfortable for most people. It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play and uses controllers, with no hand tracking listed. Most activities are conversations and courses, so you can take part seated.
