Mighty Coconut is an independent studio based in Austin, Texas, led by founder and CEO Lucas Martell. The team traces its roots to a group of animators and has worked as a game studio since 2014.
Its main product is Walkabout Mini Golf, which launched on Meta Quest in September 2020 and later came to SteamVR, PICO and PlayStation VR2. The studio self-publishes new themed courses as paid add-ons every few months, including licensed courses, and supports cross-play for up to eight players.
Mighty Coconut also makes Walkabout Mini Golf: Pocket Edition for iPhone and iPad. According to the studio, more than half of VR sessions in Walkabout are multiplayer.
