Hyper Visor Brings Owlchemy’s Arcade Game to XREAL AURA

Owlchemy Labs announced Hyper Visor on October 22, 2026. The Google-owned studio behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator describes it as an arcade blaster and launch title for XREAL AURA, the Android XR glasses sold by XREAL. Hyper Visor costs $1.99 on Google Play.

How Hyper Visor plays

Hyper Visor uses the room around the player as its setting. Its story follows a pair of living shades that reveals bright fractures in reality hidden in everyday surroundings.

The game contains eight levels. Players fire an energy stream from their hands, destroy targets and take on challenges. Each level has a boss guarding a sealed rift. Clearing a level seals that rift and restores reality.

Andrew Eiche, CEO of Owlchemy Labs, said the glasses form factor could make XR more approachable: “XREAL Aura is essentially a pair of shades, which makes XR far more approachable for anyone who may have been hesitant to put on a headset before.”

XREAL AURA pricing

Update (2026-11-01): XREAL’s official product page lists a limited-time launch offer through the end of 2026. XREAL AURA starts at $1,099 instead of $1,279 under this offer.

XREAL’s official product page lists two configurations: 12GB + 256GB for $1,099 promotional pricing and 16GB + 512GB for $1,299 promotional pricing. Road to VR reports that original pricing is $1,279 for the 256GB version with 12GB RAM and $1,499 for the 512GB version with 16GB RAM.

More Owlchemy games planned for Aura

Hyper Visor will not be alone on the glasses. According to Road to VR, Owlchemy Labs also plans to bring Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift and Inside [JOB] to Aura.

Dimensional Double Shift recently added Single Player Mode and passed one million downloads this year, according to Owlchemy Labs. The four planned titles add established Owlchemy games to the Aura lineup alongside Hyper Visor.

Availability and platform details

When Hyper Visor was announced, XREAL AURA was still on pre-order, and XREAL promised shipments this year. Players therefore cannot play Hyper Visor on Aura until the glasses arrive.

Hyper Visor is presented as an Aura launch game for Android XR glasses. The announcement gives the game’s Google Play price and eight-level structure. The updated AURA offer gives buyers two memory and storage configurations with separate promotional prices, while the original prices reported by Road to VR remain higher.

Owlchemy Labs is owned by Google. Its planned Aura lineup combines Hyper Visor with Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift and Inside [JOB].
