Road Ready VR is a driving simulation game from Fake Souls aimed at beginners, learner drivers and anyone who gets nervous behind the wheel. You practice everyday driving at your own pace, without a real car, an instructor or busy traffic around you. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on December 30, 2025, and it is free and in early access.
How it plays
Free driving covers traffic, intersections, parking, highways and day-to-day road situations, with both automatic and manual transmission. Meta lists it as an education title, so it sits on the learning and productivity side of the store as much as among games.
- Road Test Academy: practice road-test style scenarios that focus on observation, control, decisions and awareness.
- Advanced Driving Lessons: highway merging, lane changes, intersections, roundabouts, stop signs and manual driving.
- Driving jobs: work as a bus, delivery, taxi or carpool driver, carrying passengers around the city.
- Garage: premium cars and vehicle accessories to personalize your setup.
Comfort
Meta gives Road Ready VR a moderate comfort rating. It supports sitting and standing play with controllers. Driving moves you through the world while your body stays still, which can bother some players; see motion sickness in VR for tips.
