Mondly: Learn Languages in VR is a learning and education app from ATi Studios, published by ATi Studios A.P.P.S., for practicing a foreign language by speaking with virtual characters. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since August 26, 2021.
What you can do
Mondly VR is meant to work alongside Mondly's phone app. Where the phone app covers lessons, the headset version is about speaking out loud. You hold conversations with characters in everyday situations, and the app responds right away with notes on your pronunciation and suggestions for new words.
Scenes mentioned on the store page include:
- chatting with other passengers on a train to Berlin
- ordering a meal at a Spanish restaurant
- checking in at a hotel in Paris
