Yellow Dog Man Studios s.r.o. is a Czech software studio registered in Ostrava. It develops and publishes Resonite, a free social and creative VR platform that entered Steam Early Access on October 6, 2023, and which the studio describes as an all-in-one platform, creative tool and social experience.
People and background
The studio is closely tied to Tomáš "Frooxius" Mariančík, the Czech developer who created Resonite and its custom FrooxEngine, and who is credited next to the studio as a developer on Steam. Resonite is widely described as a spiritual successor to NeosVR, an earlier platform Frooxius built before he left that project in April 2023 after a dispute with its operator.
What it makes
Resonite combines social hangouts with real-time building inside VR and ProtoFlux, a node-based visual scripting system. The studio funds development partly through community support on Patreon and ships frequent beta builds; in March 2026 it released a beta SDK that converts worlds and avatars from the Unity Editor. Resonite runs on Windows PCs with SteamVR headsets and also offers a desktop mode.
