This page explains how content on vrBlogs is made, so you can judge how much weight to give it.
Sources and fact-checking
- Specs, prices and release dates come from official sources: maker spec pages, store listings, press releases and support documents. When a maker does not publish a figure, we either leave it out or say where it comes from.
- News stories link to their primary source. When we rely on another outlet's reporting, we name it.
- Rumors are labeled as rumors and only published when they come from a credible report.
Use of AI
Some articles – including news write-ups, guides, device descriptions and reviews – are drafted with the help of AI. These rules apply to every one of them:
- Every AI-written article carries a visible note saying so.
- Facts are checked against the sources listed above before publishing.
- AI-written articles never claim hands-on testing or personal experience. When an article has not been based on time with the product, it says so.
- Scores in AI-written reviews summarize official specifications and widely reported findings; they are not lab measurements.
Independence
No company pays for coverage, a score or a place in a list. Some store links are affiliate links that may earn a commission; they do not affect what we write or how we rate anything.
Corrections
If something we published is wrong, we fix it and update the article. Report errors to [email protected].
