Physics Labs is a simulation sandbox game from driftycircle built around physics play. The listing describes no missions or story; the point is to pick things up and see what happens. It is distributed through SideQuest, where it was first listed in March 2025.
How it plays
Everything in the sandbox follows physics rules. You can smash, throw and stack objects, and the game aims to make their weight, momentum and impact noticeable as you handle them. Items range from plain blocks to more elaborate contraptions you put together yourself.
The developer's own summary says the project was made with the Hurricane VR framework and draws on physics-heavy games such as Boneworks and Bonelab. That gives a good idea of the intended feel: hands-on interaction with objects rather than scripted levels.
The listing pitches it at builders, tinkerers and anyone who simply likes causing chaos. Whether you build something careful or knock everything over is up to you.
Comfort
SideQuest rates its comfort as intense, so it may not suit players prone to motion sickness in VR. It is not marked as a seated game.
