BARTENDER VR SIMULATOR

Bartender VR Simulator is a bartending simulation game from VR Factory Games, also filed under creativity and productivity (education on the store). You work behind the counter in bars modeled on real-life venues, mixing drinks for tips and trying to earn more than other players. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on June 8, 2023.

How it plays

Each order is a test of accuracy and speed. Recipes start with simple cocktails and build up to complicated ones, and the developer says hundreds of drink combinations are possible once you factor in different glassware, types of ice, extra ingredients and mixing methods.

• Earn tips for the drinks you serve.
• Compete in rankings for each bar, which reset every day.
• Show off bottle-juggling tricks behind the bar.
• Smash things and make a mess if that suits your style; the game treats chaos as part of the fun.

The developer calls it hyper-realistic and pitches it both at casual players and at people chasing the top spot.

Comfort

Meta rates it comfortable for most people. The store lists support for playing sitting, standing or at room scale. It works with controllers or hand tracking. The store listing carries Meta's mixed reality safety notice, so clear the space around you before you start pouring.
