PadelVR Game

PadelVR Game is a padel sports simulation from PADEL VIRTUAL REALITY SL, published by Vista Animations SL. Padel is a quickly growing racket sport that borrows from several other racket games, and this simulation lets you practice it whenever you like. It is sold on the Meta Horizon Store in early access.

How it plays

For now the game is about training. You get indoor and outdoor stadiums, a warm-up mode and a set of challenges, each built around a specific shot or situation:

• drop shots, volleys, smashes and lobs
• bandejas, chiquitas and the rulo reja
• serves and returns of serve
• defending with two walls
• combinations of several shots

The developer has also made a padel racket adapter for the Quest controller, meant to make swings feel more like holding a real racket.

Be clear on what is missing. The store page says matches against an AI opponent are not in the game yet, multiplayer is not available either, and the custom physics engine still needs tuning. Early access buyers pay a lower price, and the developer says every update during development is included.

Comfort

Meta rates PadelVR as moderate, meaning comfortable for some people. It supports seated, standing and room-scale play with controllers. Padel shots involve big swings, so leave space around you.
