Gun Raiders

Gun Raiders is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter with an action focus from Gun Raiders Entertainment Inc.. You fly around arenas on a jetpack or climb from wall to wall, chatting with friends while you take out the other team. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since October 7, 2021.

How it plays

Matches are fast and arcade-like, with plenty of vertical movement. The store page lists these modes:

• Battle Royale: outlast every other player on the map.
• Assault: attack the enemy base while defending yours to score for your team.
• Control: teams fight to capture and hold a point.
• Free For All: a quick arena mode where everyone fights everyone.
• Team Deathmatch: the side with the most points wins.
• Hub & Chill: a slower social space for hanging out and meeting people.

You can customize your character with meme-style skins from the Item Shop, and a seasonal battle pass with 100 levels of rewards can earn you Raider Coins, the in-game currency.

Multiplayer

Gun Raiders is an online game and needs an internet connection. It supports cross-play with mobile players, and the developer runs a Discord server with tournament news, beta testing and community chat.

Comfort

Meta rates Gun Raiders as moderate in comfort. Jetpacking and climbing involve a lot of artificial movement, so look at the comfort settings if you feel queasy. It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers.
