Baby Tag is a silly VR tag game for Meta Quest where you play a baby, crawling up walls and throwing props to escape the other babies chasing you.
Baby Tag is a tag game with an action focus from Roar Wild Studio in which you get to act like a baby. Every other baby in the room is after you, and your job is to stay out of reach for as long as you can. It came out on the Meta Horizon Store on April 6, 2022.
How it plays
Anything goes when it comes to escaping. You can slide across the floor, crawl up the walls and onto the ceiling, hide under a desk or throw things at the babies chasing you.
- climb walls, ceilings and almost any surface
- play on a "mini city" map or a "room" map
- escape from several different types of babies
- throw props at your pursuers and see how they react
- compete for the longest survival time on a leaderboard
- join a multiplayer mode with strangers, which has no voice chat for a quieter game
The store tags the game as single-player, but the description also mentions that multiplayer mode and a leaderboard, and the game needs an internet connection.
Comfort
It supports sitting and standing play, using motion controllers. Crawling across ceilings flips your view of the room, which can trigger motion sickness in VR in some players.
