Fit Beat Combat : Boxing Fitness Workout is a free fitness and health app from New Story Inc that has you punching and dodging to music in your own virtual ring. Its main promise is speed: you should be working out within seconds of putting on the headset. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on May 2, 2025.
What you can do
There is no setup to get through and the menus are kept short. You pick a song, then punch and dodge in rhythm. The developer says the workout uses your arms, core and legs, and pitches it as low-pressure exercise at home for goals such as stress relief, better stamina or weight loss.
- A wide choice of songs, so you can put together your own playlist.
- A recent update that adds a knee strike move and three new tracks.
- A mixed reality mode that brings the workout into your real room.
- A private arena where you set the pace, with nobody watching.
It is a single-player app, aimed at people who want a quick cardio session rather than a long training program.
Comfort
Meta rates it as comfortable for most people. It supports standing play only and works with controllers or hand tracking. Make sure you have room to throw punches in every direction before you start.
