Shop & Stuff: Supermarket Simulator

Shop & Stuff: Supermarket Simulator is a store-management simulation from HyperVR Games in which running a shop goes wrong in as many ways as possible. Customers argue, machines fail, shoplifters make a run for it and the floor keeps getting dirty, and you are the one who has to hold it together. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on June 2, 2025, in early access.

How it plays

The basics will be familiar from other shop games: stock the shelves, scan items at the checkout and get through the rush hour. What sets it apart is how much the customers react. Every character is voiced and comments on what you do, complains, provokes you and responds to spills, so a small mistake can snowball into a disaster.

• Customers bring working objects into the store, such as frying pans, Nerf guns, squeaky toys and cash.
• Every item is interactive and physics-driven, and each one can set off a new reaction.
• Spilled drinks, dropped food and other mess hurt the mood of the store if you leave it lying around.
• You grow the business from a small roadside shop into a much larger operation.

Comfort

Meta rates it comfortable for most people. It is played standing or room-scale with controllers; seated play is not listed. It is a single-player game.
