Bad Inmate

Bad Inmate is an action simulation game from HyperVR Games set inside a prison. It is a physics sandbox: you roam the cell block, annoy the guards, mess with other inmates and see how quickly an ordinary day can fall apart. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on October 15, 2026, in early access.

How it plays

Nearly every object can be picked up. You can throw things, hide them, combine them, or turn scrap from around the prison into tools and weapons. There is no single right way to deal with a situation, and the game leaves you free to experiment.

The other inmates and the guards have their own personalities. Some will take your side, some will turn hostile, and you can befriend, prank, fight or simply irritate them. When you want a break from the trouble, there is a gym to work out in and a basketball court.
