Operation Serpens is an arcade-style VR shooter with a solo campaign, zombie survival and co-op for up to four players against the Snakes Organization.
Operation Serpens is a fast-paced shooter and action and adventure game developed by Ginra Tech and published by MeKiwi. It takes its cues from old arcade shooters and action movies. You join an elite unit and fight your way up through the ranks of the villainous Snakes Organization. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on March 22, 2021.
How it plays
You pick a weapon style that suits you: hold up a riot shield and soak up damage, take out enemies from a distance, or rush in firing. Whatever you choose, you will need to physically dodge plenty of incoming bullets to finish a mission.
- A single-player story campaign with handcrafted levels and varied environments
- A zombie survival mode
- Guns, grenades, drones and shields
- Bullet-time flashbangs that slow the action down
Multiplayer
Co-op maps support up to four players, and crossplay is available. Each mission adds something new, whether you play alone or as part of a squad.
Comfort
Meta rates it comfortable for most people. It supports seated, standing and room-scale play and is played with controllers. Expect to duck and lean a lot to avoid enemy fire.
