Maestro

Maestro is a rhythm game from Double Jack in which you stand on a concert stage and lead a full orchestra. Instead of hitting notes on a track, you use real conducting technique to set the tempo and shape the music, ideally with hand tracking. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on October 17, 2024.

How it plays

Each concert is a fully rendered, interactive performance, and your gestures decide how the orchestra responds. The track list holds 30 pieces that mix classical works and film music, from Beethoven and Vivaldi to themes from Star Wars and Harry Potter. Meta also files it under action and adventure titles, although the focus is music rather than combat. The developer notes that Meta named it a Game of the Year for 2024.

• 30 tracks across classical and cinematic music.
• Unlockable stages, costumes, gloves and batons to customize each concert.
• Optional DLC packs, or a bundle that includes the base game and the add-ons.

Comfort

Meta rates Maestro as comfortable for most people. It supports standing and room-scale play, and you can conduct with your bare hands or with controllers. Conducting means plenty of arm movement, so give yourself room on all sides.
