Liftoff: XR Drone is a free drone flying simulation developed by LuGus Studios BVBA and published by LuGus Studios. It brings drone piloting to Meta Quest with an augmented reality interface, so you can fly in mixed reality right in the room you are in. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on July 10, 2024, and is in early access.
How it plays
The game is aimed at people who are new to the hobby. Flight handling has been tuned for the Quest controllers, so you do not need a separate radio controller to get started.

- Pass through a portal into the virtual world to switch to FPV flight.

Comfort
Meta has not given it a comfort rating. It supports room-scale, sitting and standing play with controllers. FPV flight can be more intense than watching the drone from where you stand, so switch back if you feel unwell.
