Brisk Square - Early Access is a free, fast-paced cyberpunk action game from Outerlynx. In a future world after a catastrophe, you are the hunted one, and you have to fight your way through brutal streets full of hunters. The game has been on the Meta Horizon Store since July 2, 2021.
How it plays
Brisk Square is built as an endless run. You start with nothing but a basic blade and gradually unlock stronger weapons as you push further. The game asks you to keep moving and overpower the hunters before they overpower you.
Each hand has its own job. One hand holds your sword for slashing enemies, while the other uses special powers to push, pull and smash objects around you. Combining the two is the key to scoring well.
Points from each run feed into a worldwide leaderboard, so the long-term goal is to climb as high as you can against other players' scores.
The store page is brief and does not list modes, levels or a story beyond this setup. Even so, the free price and the leaderboard make it an easy one to try.
Comfort
Meta has not given Brisk Square a comfort rating. It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers.
