BeamXR Live - Stream to Socials

BeamXR Live - Stream to Socials is a free media and video app from BeamXR for livestreaming what you see in your Quest straight to Twitch, YouTube and other platforms, without a PC or cables. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on August 8, 2025 and is in early access.

What you can do

• stream any game, app or experience running on your Quest
• start a Twitch or YouTube stream with a single tap
• send your stream to any service that accepts RTMP
• read your stream chat without taking the headset off
• add images, text and other overlays to your stream
• appear as your Meta Avatar for just-chatting streams

That covers the usual streamer setups: showing off gameplay, trying new mixed reality apps live, or simply hanging out with viewers as an avatar.

Because it is early access, BeamXR lists a known issue: in some multiplayer games with voice chat, viewers may not hear your microphone on the stream. The team collects feedback and posts news on its Discord server.

Comfort

Meta rates BeamXR Live comfortable for most people. It supports sitting, standing and room-scale use, with controllers or hand tracking. In practice, comfort depends on the game you are streaming.
